About us

In january 2020 we came to Cómpeta for the first time. We where looking for a townhouse in Torrox, but the real estate manager wanted us to look at a house in the mountains. After having spent 1 and half hour in mountains around Cómpeta we felt very much at home and were totally convinced, this should be our place to live. We were attracted by the climate, the mountains, the view over the sea, the people and the way of life here in Cómpeta.

After spending years in Greenland, Jan running a business and Ann working in the healthcare sector and at the same time raising 4 children, we decided in 2023 to move to Europe, to Competa to be exact, to be near our elderly parents and our studying children. But to enjoy a warmer climate and shorter workdays.

In 2024 we bought Casa Granada with the luxury studio-apartments from Albert after he retired. He had run the apartments with great passion. We want to continue to let out this accommodation with great pleasure and dedication.

We hope to welcome you in Cómpeta, spending a hiking or cycling holiday or also to relax at the foot of the Sierra Alhama and Almijara!
